The Erasmus+ project, CyberBOX, was launched at the beginning of October 2022 and continuously follows the GameBOX project. Its main idea is cybersecurity on the Internet, thus fulfilling a need in today’s digital age. The main output of the project will be an educational programme with gaming elements, focusing on cyber security topics such as social hacking, phishing, malware. The educational programme is accompanied by a mentor who will guide you through the introductory topics, explain how to work with the game and act as a moderator for each round of the game. The programme will be translated into English, Slovak and Ukrainian and the main target group is young adults aged 16-35. Statistics show that this group is the least cautious when it comes to cyber security, even though they spend a lot of time online. The program therefore focuses on developing key skills to protect against cyber attacks and includes elements of media literacy such as critical thinking, as well as choosing strong passwords, and what happens in the absence of software defenses such as antivirus, firewall, etc.
