About the project:
Agile2Learn is introducing the Agile Project Based Learning into secondary education as a new enhanced educational approach to promote the development of key transversal competencies needed in the 21st century. The inspiration and the idea of the project originates from the software production sector and IT business – namely from the Agile Software Development, where is a huge demand on fast creation of solution and flexible reaction on the changes of the requirements during the development.
The main objective of the project is to design and develop the training course and the educational content that will reinforce the necessary skills and competences and upskill the teachers. Specific competences will be developed based on a combination of two approaches – agile pedagogy and project-based learning.

The events and activities of the project:
Train the Trainers (October 2022, Greece). This 5-days workshop for 10 people (2 persons from each project partner) is aiming at introduction of the methodology, the content and the training tools to the participants and introducing them the agile project-based learning in the company and in the secondary school. At least one of the participants sent by each project partner will become the national tutor and will coordinate the Pilot Training Course on the national level.
Pilot Training Course (November 2022 – Mai 2023, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy and Germany). This training is intended for 15 teachers from secondary schools per project partner, that will acquire and test new competencies and skills during their classes or within the school projects on the national or international level as well. The Pilot Training Course will take 7 months and is built as blended course consisting of: face-to-face training, self-study in the form of e-learning and practical assignments that the teachers will apply during their lessons or project work for their school.
A Dissemination Event will be organized in Jihlava in May 2023, where interested persons in the topic of agile project learning and other stakeholders should meet with representatives of EPMA and participants of the Pilot Training. The aim of this event is present the results of the project to the participants and attract or involve them into using of Agile2Learn methods and tools during their work.
The final international conference organised by the partner University of Thessaly in Larissa, Greece, will be held in November 2023 where the consortium will present the results of the project, share experience and aim to reach the widest possible professional audience and disseminate the results of the project.
