We are proud to announce the conclusion of a formal partnership with the city of Jihlava on the STAR project. The STAR (STreet Art for social inclusion) project aims to promote social inclusion and decrease marginalization through street art.
This partnership is an excellent opportunity to share the experience that both partners have on inclusion but also to strengthen their close relationship, as EPMA was co-founded by the Vysocina Region of which Jihlava is the capital.
Jihlava is the modern centre of the Vysocina Region, a vibrant city with long tradition of cultural events, it is the home of Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival, one of the leading European documentary film festivals. During the last years, Jihlava has been focusing on social inclusion within the programme of Inclusive education support networks.
The main objective of EPMA is to develop international project-based co-operation of EU regions and regional partners towards European inclusive digitally empowered society built on bottom-up sustainable innovations. This objective is implemented through activities such as research, awareness rising, educational activities, project management and networking with the aim to strengthen a dialogue and cooperation between public administrations, research communities, business organizations, civic initiatives and citizens.
